We are currently recruiting the following positions:

Pre-School Manager

The Little Owl Pre-school seeks to appoint a passionate, dedicated and inspirational pre-school manager to start  January 2018.

The Little Owl Pre-school is a committee run charity. We pride ourselves on quality childcare and education through purposeful child-led learning. We were awarded with an ‘outstanding’ judgment at our last scheduled Ofsted inspection in 2014. We have a large, secure private garden where we encourage children to be physically active and learn through contact with nature. Our indoor learning space encourages independence, as children have free access to books, creative media, role-play and construction equipment. There is plenty of space to allow freedom of movement which facilitates concentration and communication. We are passionate about children’s creativity and are inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.  We use aspects of this philosophy in our work with children and we consciously seek to nurture a positive attitude to the outdoors and enrich each child’s understanding of the world around him or her.

As manager, you will work closely with our Deputy Manager and be responsible for and leading the day to day management of the pre-school, monitoring activities, practice and children’s progress, whilst following the Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines.
